    Visual Arts: Sculpture
I aspire to create sculpture that reflects a world filled with magic and wonder, celebrating the interrelated continuousness of all things through my Mobius-like works, with a single, traceable, looping edge. My works are produced through a method of direct carving, which entails having no preconceived notions or models from which to derive the final shape of my pieces. Instead, I allow the natural rhythms of the materials I use to guide me to a final product, rich with serene fluidity. During my 40-year-career, I have produced more than 1000 works in steel, bronze, wood, and water, though my curvilinear, Mobius-inspired stone sculptures are my most celebrated. I have carved 211 different kinds of rock from 56 countries.

    Visual Arts: Sculpture
Hans Vande Bovenkamp, a renowned sculptor is best known for his monumental sculptures, calls for aesthetic that traverses the boundaries of artistic categories, primarily outdoors. His art calls for elements that create warm, welcoming landmarks which is a transformative experience that encourages patrons to leave their busy stressful lives and transition to focus on their happiness and health. For me making sculpture is both a spiritual and artistic.” With good leadership, there is a great future opened to humanity.” His connection with nature and the narratives we create, are reaching a pinnacle. New technologies are becoming increasingly embedded in our biology to give unprecedented abilities. This transition is also driving us to tap into new ways of being creative and what it means to take care of our environment, to be at peace, happy and free.”I work creatively and offer techniques in my work that brings history into our current life. When you look at my work you see my heart”.

    Visual Arts: Sculpture
I specialize in bronze figurative sculptures commemorating great people and celebrating the significance of ordinary people. My sculptures are intended to seek an emotional response—I want you to relate to the humanity of my subjects and to recognize that you are part of the same human family. Too often today, a person subconsciously views another with suspicion or fear based on skin color, faith, or language. Sometimes resulting in harm and even death. I create sculptures intended to elicit compassion and a sense of common humanity–of identification with the “other”. I have completed several large projects including 8 life-size dolphins, in the La Jolla UTC shopping mall, the King Triton and Sojourner Truth at UC San Diego, and the Encinitas Child greeting people in Encinitas, CA along Hwy 101. Harriet Tubman: Following Her Star will be installed in Lincoln Park, Pomona, CA. Smaller limited-edition bronzes are suitable for table, pedestal, or niche display in the home or garden.
  • Lisa Reinertson
    Lisa Reinertson
    Visual Arts: Sculpture
Lisa Reinertson is known for both life size figurative ceramic sculptures and large-scale public sculptures cast in bronze. Her work ranges in content from semi-autobiographical female figures with animals in clay to historic bronze monumental portraits of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Cesar Chavez, immersed in narrative bas-relief imagery. In viewing her work, we are witness to concerns of feminism, peace and social justice as they intertwine with nature and our relationship to creatures with which we share the earth. Her work combines a realism rooted in figurative art traditions with a contemporary expression of social and psychological content. Reinertson has taught at several universities, primarily across California. Her ceramic work has been exhibited at museums both nationally and internationally, and she has completed over 20 public commissions in bronze, including the Mother and Child Sculpture Garden in Palm Desert. Visual Arts: Sculpture
I am a bronze sculptor living and working in Northern Colorado. My outdoor sculptures honor members of the military, historical figures and athletes. My goal as an artist is to make a subject or theme come alive and connect with the viewer In my opinion, bronze sculptures will outlive all other means of documenting history and will be an important source of historical information unchanged from time due to its permanence of materials. I create each sculpture with this belief in mind.

I believe the character of a person’s heart is written in the lines of their face. In the sculptures I create, I seek to capture the subject and the emotions that were, or are, the driving force behind their actions and deeds. I also try to embody at least one of the five following tenets in the scenes I create: • a sense of Community – the respect and fervor with which we serve each other; • a sense of Heritage – bringing the past alive in a way that embodies the future; • a sense of Family – the hope, faithfulness and constancy we find in the ties that bind; • a sense of Honor – for those who serve, protect, defend and lead our nation, in our communities and in the world in civil, military, educational, non-profit, political and ministerial capacities; and • a sense of Faith – hope, belief and faith in the true purpose we were created for that lifts us beyond ourselves and our own capacities to reach out to our fellow man in serving others through the gifts endowed by the Creator.

Apart from making shows in exhibition-spaces, I love to go outside and work with an external spot. I let my work play its role within, and interact with this larger environment. I enjoy considering how to relate to the people who use the space in their daily lives and routines. I love to work in a situation where people will unexpectedly come upon my intervention in their surroundings. I seek to elicit a moment of awareness in the flood of anonymity. We mostly go through life in an automatic-pilot state of mind. I would love to have the artwork see the environment with a fresh look for just a second, before going back to the automatic pilot. I would love to have my artwork given a few thoughts someone may pick up. And with that, inspire the passer-by for a moment to think outside the box of our day to day routine mindset, before she/he rushed back into life. I wish to design a work that gives a symbol to the space, to the building and/or the area.

    Julian Voss-Andreae
Architectural; Visual Arts: Fountains, New Media / Technology, Sculpture
I draw cutting-edge approaches from diverse fields to re-imagine the ancient art of sculpture. My goal is to convey elements of our spiritual essence and open our eyes to the miraculous nature of the underlying nature of reality. My work is a reminder of our fundamental connectedness, giving tangible expression to the vital paradigm shift from Newtonian separation to a renewed connection with Nature.
  • Mark Yale Harris
    Mark Yale Harris
    Architectural; Visual Arts: Bas-relief, Sculpture
My artwork invokes an awakening of the sensual. Stimulating a perceptual, internal, and intellectual response for the viewer: a visual that speaks to life’s experiences. Creating symbols of universal connection underscores the relationship that one has to another and to nature. Art conveys my nonverbal view of life. An ongoing portrayal of myself, my behavior, adventure, exploration, risk taking, and non-acceptance of convention and the status quo. Life has a hard, aggressive side, as does much of my work, represented by rigid, angular lines. However, the soft side is also apparent, visible as curves and soft forms. Award-winning sculptor Mark Yale Harris works in alabaster, marble, limestone and bronze, expressing the duality in mans’ essence. Career highlights: 250+ national and international gallery and museum exhibitions (90+ solo); 120+ publications have featured his sculpture; he is represented by twenty galleries (US and UK); and has works in permanent public collections.
