Early in my life I established a deep commitment to divergent acts in hopes of attaining uncommon insight into the nature of reality. I utilize the power of text and compose my findings into an artistic practice as a means of sharing information; philosophical public intervention.

In 1998 I moved to Palm Springs, into the house of my great grandmother, a painter, sculptor, and art educator. I have two permanent and one temporary public sculptures commissioned by the City of Palm Springs, on exhibition currently, with an additional permanent set to install in April, 2024.

I do not have a formal education in art. I hold a Master’s in International Counseling Psychology that I achieved while living in Mexico City, and a Bachelor’s in Media & Cultural Studies from the University of California.

Established in practice in 2015, I have created public and private works at varying scales that have ranged between $5000 and $100,000 for places like Palm Springs,CA and New York City. I am well versed in the complex logistics associated with project coordination, permitting, communication, engineering, installation, client and community interface, and quality detailing.

By utilizing scale and material, I challenge viewers, stopping them in their tracks, aligning them with the work, breaking down mental resistance between art and nature, man-made and mysterious. The casual viewer becomes a connected participant.

I would embrace the opportunity to create a public artwork for Palm Desert that is iconic, dynamic, inseparable from its site, collaboratively developed, environmentally intelligent, engaging, beautiful, and timeless.
